Refurbishment – April/May 2025

Friday 16th May

The garden room and patio are officially re-opened. 

Thursday 15th May

The scaffolding has come down and new signage has gone up. 

Thursday 8th May

Lots of progress on the garden room this week. 

Saturday 3rd May

Work has started on some of the bedrooms. 

Friday 2nd May

All hands on deck to make sure we are ready for opening tomorrow as planned. 

Thursday 1st May

The coffee machine and beer pumps have been installed and the seating area is starting to take shape. 

Wednesday 30th April

With only 2 days to go, it looks like it is all coming together nicely.

The fireplace is almost ready for the log burner to be installed & the bar is really beginning to take shape.

Saturday 19th April

Today the new back bar was installed.

Wednesday 16th April

Today we had our weekly site meeting and everything seems to be on schedule and going to plan.

The new garden room is starting to take shape with a complete new layout and look planned.

Tuesday 15th April

Panelling going in ready for booth seating area (it’s not staying green!). The conservatory has started to come down and preparation work has begun for redecoration.

Today we had a site meeting – lots of hi-viz!

We also uncovered many different wallpapaers from across the ages…..
